ABOUT THE DPR
The department of petroleum is a department under the petroleum ministry of the Nigerian oil sector saddled with the responsibility of exploration and importation of petroleum products. As part of its activities, it manages the upstream and downstream sectors of the Nigerian petroleum industry. Mr. Mordecai Ladan is the current director at the department.

The department of petroleum resources online recruitment process is a long and tedious one, so you have to be careful and follow every detail step by step. Before you begin your application you will have to login to the site recruitment.dpr.gov.ng/register then click on register. Fill in your names, email address, phone number and a password you can remember.
If you fill it well, it will show you successful registration, rush now to the login page and login with your email address and password you register with.
POSITIONS TO APPLY FOR
All applicants are to choose from two categories to process their online recruitment form. You will be ask to choose from either to apply as a GRADUATE TRAINEES or as EXPERIENCED HIRE
To apply for the graduate trainee, you must not be above 30yrs by December 2016 and a graduate of engineering, management sciences and social sciences. While for the experienced hire, you must not be above 40years by December 31, 2016 and must have a 5years working experience in the oil and gas sector. You must have degree in engineering, management sciences and social sciences.

Fill in your educational qualifications and add them in seriel order of your secondary school and hiher institution attended.
Fill in your referees, and then select the examination centre/town where you will like to sit for the online CBT exams

DOCUMENT TO SCAN AND UPLOAD
All applicants for the department of petroleum resources are require to scan and upload the following documents in order to have their application successful.
-NYSC Discharge Certificate/Exception letter
NB: please use the PDF format to scan them and make sure they are not above 320kb in size. Don’t apply more than once or you will be disqualified.
Upon submission of your online application form, you will receive an acknowledgement letter in your email address containing a reference number which should be quoted in all future correspondence with the department of petroleum resources.
Deadline for the online application ends by December 9, 2016, only shortlisted applicants will be invited to write the computer Based Test (CBT).
